Both absolute self-rating and relative self-rating of health status range from 1-5. 1 corresponds to the healthiest status, while 5 indicates the least healthy status. The set of control variables is the same as Table 2. The difference in sample sizes between two regressions is due to missing values in self-rated health status. Fortunately, those with missing values in self-rated health status are no different from other respondents with regard to the set of socioeconomic covariates.
